Meet the Team at Edward Moon DDS in Mission Viejo, CA

Jennifer Moon has been part of the practice since 2004 and serves as the Office Manager. She is a licensed Registered Nurse, having completed her education at Loma Linda University.
Jennifer is passionate about nurturing and caring for patients, approaching each individual with empathy, compassion, and clear communication. She believes every patient is unique and deserves to feel heard and validated, and she takes pride in listening closely and accommodating each person’s needs.
Jennifer is married to Dr. Moon and is the mother of two adult daughters, Erin, who lives in Nashville, Tennessee, and Lauren, who lives in Irvine, California. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending much of her time serving her church community.

Maria E. Diaz Santillan joined the practice in April 2025, bringing with her more than 10 years of experience as a dental assistant. She works as a Registered Dental Assistant and is known for her reliability, commitment, and positive attitude.
Maria values being part of a team that is supportive, kind, and passionate about patient care. She contributes to the success of the practice by working hard, maintaining strong communication, and helping ensure the office runs smoothly each day.
Outside of work, Maria enjoys watching movies on Netflix, staying home with her dog Rocky, and spending quality time with her family.

Tish Gentili joined the practice in July 2024 and brings over 20 years of clinical experience as a dental hygienist. She is a graduate of Cypress College, where she graduated top of her class, served as valedictorian, and earned a perfect score on the national board exam. She is also a published author in the Journal of Dental Hygiene and has received numerous professional awards.
Tish is deeply committed to education and prevention. She empowers patients by providing thorough explanations, personalized home-care instructions, and preventive strategies tailored to each individual. Her clinical expertise includes comprehensive periodontal assessments, oral cancer screenings, radiographic imaging, and preventive and therapeutic cleanings. She stays current with the latest research, technologies, and evidence-based treatments to support both oral and overall health.
Tish enjoys connecting with patients who want to understand the link between oral health and total wellness. She values the harmony and teamwork within the practice and believes strongly in camaraderie and unity.
Outside the office, Tish has a passion for self-development, reading, yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. She is also an author and speaker who enjoys empowering women through personal growth and transformation. She loves spending quality time with family and friends and is grateful for a career that allows her to build meaningful connections while maintaining balance and joy in life.
